Description
Instructor: Professor Michael Cranston. Math 131A is an introductory course covering basic principles of probability and statistics inference. Topics covered in the course include axiomatic definition of probability, random variables, joint distribution, expected values, limit theorems, estimation of parameters, probability distributions, survey sampling, and hypothesis testing.
