Description
Statistical mechanics, chemical kinetics, and chemical dynamics are the main topics of this course. Development of the relationship between the quantum mechanical properties of individual molecules and the thermodynamic properties of macroscopic collections of molecules. Kinetic theory and transport processes. Rates and mechanisms of chemical reactions.
