Description
the selected musical traditions of the world. It gives an exploration of music from various cultures and time periods and the ways in which music promotes self-understanding by reflecting recurring patterns of human behavior. Students will also develop a music vocabulary and listening skills through exposure to recordings, lectures and assignments about stylistic elements and analysis.
