YOUR STUDY

You'll have two full years to complete your study for your AQA Psychology A-Level, though there are options to extend that period if you require. To successfully complete your AQA Psychology A-Level, you must pass three paper-based exams, as described below:

• Total Marks: 96
• Assessed: Content from topics 4.1.1 – 4.1.4
• Assessment format: A mixture of multiple-choice, short answer and extended writing

Paper 2

• Type: Written examination
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Weighing: 33.3% of A-Level
• Total Marks: 96
• Assessed: Content from topics 4.2.1 – 4.2.3
• Assessment format: A mixture of short and long answer questions and multiple-choice questions

Paper 3

• Type: Written examination
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Weighing: 33.3% of A-Level
• Total Marks: 96
• Assessed: Content from topics 4.3.1 and optional content from:
• one from option 1, (4.3.2-4.3.4)
• one from option 2, (4.3.5-4.3.7)
