Description

This course deals with topics in conduction and radiation: radiation from a black body, radiative properties of non-black surfaces, view factors, enclosure analysis, gas radiation, energy equation in heat conduction, unsteady conduction, fin heat transfer, 2D steady conduction and phase change problems, and numerical solution of conduction problems.
