This course deals with topics in power system generation, transmission and distribution: electrical energy systems and its structures, hydroelectric power generation, renewable energy, air pollutants, voltage regulation, power flow through a line, methods of voltage control, cables, high voltage DC transmission, load flow studies, Newton Raphson (NR), load flow method and optimal generation scheduling.
