This course provides an understanding of the fundamentals of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Renewable Energy, especially in Indian Context. Topics covered in the course includes: overview of electrical vehicles, vehicle dynamics, vehicle subsystems, storage of electrical vehicles, fundamentals of EV battery pack design, EV motors and controllers, battery charging and swapping and infra management, introduction to energy scenario in India, solar and wind energy in India, and storage options for energy.
